Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center

Cooperation with the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia

An essential area of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center activity is retraining and professional development of representatives of professional and volunteer rescue organizations.

The Serbian Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) is one of the first specialized structures that conduct joint exercises and trainings at the Center territory and mountain conditions.

Six young GSS Nish department representatives arrived at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center to undergo a training course at the ground “The rescuer path” on February 2nd. It includes training at the climbing wall, such as vertical descent with a victim, and a descent inside the elevator shaft using climbing equipment.

Before the training course, following the regulations when working at height, all participants were instructed in safety. The training was carried out, considering all epidemiological measures.
