Russian Serbian Humanitarian Center and Russian Humanitarian Mission

Тhe Russian Humanitarian Mission (RHM) is a Russian non-profit organization performing a volunteer humanitarian mission in the countries of Southeast Europe. The RHM carries out charitable activities to provide aid to victims of social, national, religious and military conflicts, develops and implements educational, medical and humanitarian projects with full logistics support.

The RSHC, being a structure that solves humanitarian problems in the Balkans, has close interaction with the Russian Humanitarian Mission: in July 2017, the Center employees participated in the ceremony of donation of an ambulance to the residents of Medvedja; in 2018, the RSHC employee - a doctor - worked as part of the Russian Humanitarian Mission providing medical care to the residents of Serbian villages located in distant mountain regions; in 2019 the RSHC and RHM employees participated in the opening of a Russian culture center in the Republika Srpska (vicinity of Doboј).

On December 2, 2019, a reconstructed hall of Gymnasium No. 8 was opened in Belgrade, where the RHM carried out repairs and equipping the classes with multimedia equipment to improve the quality of studies in the Russian language.

At the end of the event, negotiations were held between the employees of the RHM and RSHC, during which representatives of the parties expressed their interest in further cooperation and its development. The representative of the RSHC, for his part, confirmed the Center’s readiness to assist the Mission in carrying out its humanitarian tasks in the region. The head of the representative office of the RHM in the Balkans Mr. M. Bondar expressed his gratitude to the Center and its employees for their desire to intensify practical cooperation and their intention to develop a joint action plan for 2020.
