Balkan trainees in Moscow (November 18-22, 2019)

The next stage of training in 2019, which is being organized by the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center at higher educational institutions of EMERCOM of Russia for employees of the emergency services of the Balkan states, is going to be completed.

From November 18 to 22, 2019, an educational course “Fire Safety” was held at the State Fire Academy of Emercom of Russia in Moscow in which 10 fire safety inspectors from the Republic of Serbia, 2 employees from Northern Macedonia and 3 employees from Bosnia and Herzegovina took part.

Summing up the training of specialists of the Balkan states at higher educational institutions of EMERCOM of Russia, it is necessary to note continuing interest of the Balkan specialized departments in studying in Russia, where they get acquainted with the most up-to-date developments of Russian specialists, and the educational process which is based on unique methods and technologies. Therefore, in 2015 the number of trainees from the countries of South-eastern Europe was 111 persons, this year this number will be 159 persons.

The planned number of the Balkan specialists who will participate in trainings at EMERCOM courses in Russia before the end of 2019 is 132 employees from the Sector of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, 18 - from the Sector for protection and rescue and the Republican Office for Civil Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 9 - from the Department of Rescue and Security of Northern Macedonia.
