The period of vacations ends and the second half of the 2019 academic year is approaching.

The RSHC conducts all the necessary preparation - lesson plans are being drawn up, determination of the universities of the EMERCOM of Russia where the courses will be held, a national training base is being prepared.

The most important part of the Center’s development and its preparation for the new academic year is the continuation of work on transforming the RSHC in Nish into a full-fledged national training center for the Sector for the emergency situations of the Ministry of the Interior in Serbia, which should be a part of the existing Serbian system of training for firefighters and rescuers, professionals and volunteers.

Currently, the Center has the following training elements: the climbing wall "Rescuer Path", the training complex "Shturm". The delivery of equipment for the following classrooms is being completed:

•“Elimination of the natural disaster consequences ” - for learning to respond to natural disasters.

•“Elimination of consequences of man-made disasters” - for working with rescue equipment.

• “First Aid” - intended for teaching first aid methods.

•“Computer class” - for any subject, testing and distance learning.

Besides, advanced training on the following topics is planned in the universities of EMERCOM of Russia in September:

•Organization of international humanitarian aid in case of an emergency;

•Safety rules when working with explosives;

•Vocational education system in the universities of EMERCOM of Russia.

At the same time, the Russian employees of the RSHC will continue to conduct lectures and trainings in Serbia; the Center expects rescuers from Hungary and other countries for trainings.
