Working week in RSHC

The Center's co-director Victor Gulevich started active working in Serbia. On October 16th, he visited Belgrade emergency center, participated in a working meeting with city deputy mayor Andreja Mladenovic, who expressed his gratitude to Russia and RSHC for cooperation and interaction in elimination of different types of emergencies in the territory of Serbia. Mr. Mladenovic noted that he had the opportunity to see personally how huge and well-organized are the Russian volunteer services in the civil protection system. In response, Victor Gulevich, thanked for great hospitality in Serbia, and expressed his confidence in the further development and cooperation expansion of our fraternal peoples.

The meeting was attended by RSHC director Bojan Glamoclija, member of the city council Radenko Durkovic, the head of the city emergency center Rade Milosevic.

On October 17th, ICDO General Secretary Vladimir Kuvshinov, deputy director of the Agency Emercom Andrei Kabanov and regional representative of the Agency Konstantin Darmanian arrived to the city of Nis and came to RSHC. Various kinds of issues were discussed, such as expansion of the Crisis Management Center in RSHC, use of specialized software, also work of the Russian-Serbian unit for humanitarian demining. An important issue was the intensification of cooperation between RSHC and ICDO in a way the Center in Nis to become the regional ICDO training ground with possibility in a future to get the function of the logistics center of this International Organization.
