Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center

Serbian politicians in the RSHC

On May 8th, representatives of the Serbian People's Party headed by its leader Nenad Popovich and other high-ranking functionaries visited the RSHC.

Guests were acquainted with the history of the Center's creation, the results of its five-year activities on Balkans, the material and technical base for ensuring daily work and emergency response. Many questions arose about the training of national personnel in Russia, participation in this process of representatives of other Balkan countries, as well as the possibility of creating a training segment within the RSHC. Training abroad is quite expensive and requires the local firefighters to be separated from their daily work and families.

Guests approved the plan to get supplies of new equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, which can solve problems with the response to emergencies, and for the training grounds of the Center

Mr. Popovic stressed that granting the diplomatic status to the Center will definitely contribute to the further development of RSHC, expanding further on that “…  today the letter was sent to the government about the need to sign the Agreement, which has been under discussion for several years, as Ivica Dacic said last week ...”.
