Representative of Order of Malta visited the Center

Russian-Serbian humanitarian center is open for the accession of any country or organisation agreed with its goals and objectives. In future the Center is seen as fully functional international structure that provides help in the field of emergency humanitarian response to interested countries on Balkans and other regions.

Based on it and to expand the cooperation with international organizations and to increase humanitarian response possibilities, the Center leadership held meeting with the Chief of Cabinet of the Grand Hospitaller of Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and Malta Ivo Graziani. Order of Malta is considered as a sovereign subject of international law and has the status of observer at the United Nations and the Council of Europe.

Possibilities of cooperation in the field of humanitarian response in terms of first aid during emergencies, assistance in delivery of medical equipment to refugee camps and other humanitarian directions were discussed on a meeting.

Representative of Order of Malta got acquainted with the Center’s activities, visited the Emergency Management Center, warehouse and training complex “The Rescuer Path”.

Possible areas for further joint activities were identified. Sides agreed to stay in contact.
