RSHC at symposium «Emergency Response: Floods 2014»

After Serbian MI invitation, RSHC representatives took part in international symposium «Emergency response: floods 2014», which was organised in Sabac between 22nd - 24th of September.

RSHC representatives, Centospas rescuers Igor Petrov i Andrey Terehov were among the first rescuers who came to help to Serbian town Obrenovac in May 2014. Back then by IL-76 airplane 76 rescuers arrived together with technique, boats & humanitarian aid during few hours. During two days, more than 2 thousand people were evacuated. During those days Center showed its readiness and capability.

Russian rescuers have felt the size of devastation and specific local conditions, so they spoke about their experiences.

They shared with audience information about new methodologies of water rescuing, held the briefing about Center activities in Serbia and on Balkans and answered questions.
