Delegation of Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) in Nish

On 20th of September Russian-Serbian humanitarian center in Nish had guests from Belgrade, among them were the DEMA senior advisor for Balkans Sefik Muhic, other agency representatives and employees of Serbian Emergency management sector, which are working in the international relations field.

The briefing about the Center activities was held by the Center leadership to fulfill the function of international institution and to expand cooperation with specialized international organizations. Later guests got acquainted with the administrative and operational structure of RSHC, Crisis Management Center and training ground «The Rescuer Path».

Serbian Ministry of Interior cooperates with the Danish Emergency Management Agency since 2007 in the frame of the bilateral agreement on emergency cooperation, which expires in 2017. DEMA was involved in equipping of Crisis Management Center in Sarajevo (BIH).

The Danish side confirmed its interest in the development of working cooperation with RSHC, including information exchange and emergency predicting at the end of the visit.
