Demining squad gets to work

Well known, RSHC was established on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on April 25th 2012 to perform various tasks. One of them is humanitarian demining. For this purpose, the squad with required equipment was allocated to Serbia by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

Based on the Serbian Demining Center request suburb of Paracin-city was selected as a work location. Mine-cleaning program was made for period from 2013 to 2015. During this time 1400 646 square meters was cleaned and 1858 explosive objects were eliminated.

This summer deminers are here again. On 13 of July the general director of the Humanitarian Demining Center I. Zhavnerchik and the head of the Group B. Pilipchuk visited RSHC and discussed some operational issues. Demining activities will start the next few days.
